(What kind of AI to use, and why)

1️⃣ First truth: Not all AI is the same

People say “AI” like it’s one thing.

It’s not.

AI is a big family of different tools, each good at different jobs.

A Product Manager’s job is not to know all of them,

but to know which one fits the problem.

2️⃣ Traditional logic (rules-based systems)

This is the oldest type of “smart” system.

How it works:

• Humans write rules
• Computer follows rules

Example:

Ifpayment= success → show confirmation
Ifpayment= failed → show error

Good when:

• Rules are clear
• Very few exceptions
• You need exact correctness
